Teadit

In this project, I worked on both research and visual design. During the research phase, I conducted interviews with stakeholders from different countries and collaborated on structuring the information architecture. On the UI side, I was responsible for creating wireframes and developing the final design, with a focus on accessibility.

THE PROBLEM

Scaling Challenges
in a Multinational Context

The Teadit website had an outdated look and a confusing information architecture, which made navigation unintuitive and finding content very difficult. This experience was even more challenging for users who needed to compare products from different countries, as the local versions of the site varied significantly in structure and presentation. Furthermore, the process of uploading products was extremely manual and required a great deal of effort from the team, compromising the consistency of information across the different countries.

THE SOLUTION

The new website was developed based on the pain points and needs of stakeholders from all countries, resulting in a clean, modern, straightforward, accessible, and visually consistent design.

RESEARCH

How We Conducted the Workshop:
A Five-Stage Approach

After a detailed design interview with the project's key stakeholders, an online workshop was conducted with the teams responsible for Brazil, the United States, Europe, and Latin America..

The workshop was divided into five stages:

Icebreaker:
We used the "worst possible idea" dynamic, where participants came up with the worst idea they could think of for the company or website.

Problem Definition:
The Teadit team created questions starting with "How might we…" followed by a problem to work on. For example: How might we help our customers find the right sealing solution?

Brainstorm:
In this stage, the team generated ideas to solve the defined problems using the "braindump" technique, where each person silently wrote down their ideas.

Grouping Similar Ideas:
At this point, Teadit grouped the ideas into clusters to better organize them and establish a clear direction.

Prioritization:
Finally, the team prioritized the ideas based on feasibility and importance.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

After the research phase, we moved on to the information architecture stage, where we sought to incorporate all the ideas generated in the workshops and the insights gathered from stakeholder interviews to design the site structure.

WIREFRAME

Based on research conducted with stakeholders from around the world and the approval of the information architecture, I moved forward with developing the project's wireframes to validate the structure with the client.

ACCESIBILITY

In addition to ensuring WCAG-recommended contrast across the entire site, we created a keyboard navigation guide for the development team to ensure a smooth browsing experience. I also directed the SEO team to add tags to images and titles.
